Public Administration

The objectives of the Department of Public Administration are: to educate personnel for the public bureaucracy; to equip students with systematic knowledge in the fields of politics, administration, law and environment. Students taking courses in social sciences such as administration, sociology, politics, law and urbanization can primarily work as administrative judges and county governors, and have a wide variety of employment opportunities in public bureaucracy. The nature of the courses given in the Department also enable the graduates to go to private sector.

Undergraduate Program


Undergraduate program of the Department is designed to provide a study of fields such as Administrative Sciences, History of Political Thought, Constitutional Law, Local Government, Public Personnel Management, Turkish Politics, Bureaucracy, International Politics. Public Administration also offers postgraduate program, a two-year Master's Program and a four-year Doctor of Philosophy, in accordance with the regulations of the Institute of Social Sciences.
